Radiohead to play at Austin City!!!

Radiohead are going to feature their performance during the season opener of Austin City Limits.In order to go on with the premiere they will perform an hour-long set.

Other acts announced for the upcoming season are the Shins, Bon Iver, Dr. Dog, Bonnie Raitt with Mavis Staples, and the Civil Wars.

"We're proud to continue the tradition of presenting a diverse, eclectic mix of some of the most original music being made today," Austin City Limits executive producer Terry Lickona said in an official statement.

On November 10, ACL will present the Americana Music Festival 2012. It's hosted by Jim Lauderdale and features performances by Carolina Chocolate Drops, Richard Thompson, Patty Griffin, Alabama Shakes, Lifetime Achievement Honoree Bonnie Raitt and more.

Radiohead's Thom "Atoms For Peace" Revealed New Track

A series of new track has been unveil by Radiohead Yorke's supergroup Atoms For Peace.

Yorke features in the group alongside longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and Red Hot Chili Pepper's Flea as well as drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist Mauro Refosco. 

Previousyear, Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea exposed details of an album and said they commenced working on a record after touring together under the Atoms For Peace name.

"At the end of the tour we went into a studio for three days and just jammed – totally improvising," he said. "Thom and Nigel [Godrich] have taken that stuff and done shit with it. I've heard little bits and pieces. I have no idea when it's going to come out. Not real soon though."

Radiohead's Frontman Thome to Release New Album in Collaboration With Lotus

It has been confirmed that dancing superstar Flying Lotus in collaboration with Radiohead's frontman will release a new album.

Yorke will guest on a track on the producer's new album 'Until The Quiet Comes', which is due for release on October 1 in the UK and October 2 in the US.

Steve Ellison the producer about working with Yorke expressed that: "I definitely respect what he's up to. But the biggest surprise to me in getting to know him is that he's a funny guy. He's the jokey one."

Radiohead will tour the UK in the autumn, playing their first UK dates in over three years. The band first play a show at Manchester Arena on October 6 before playing two shows at London's O2 Arena on October 8 and 9. They will then undertake a full European tour. Caribou will provide support on all dates.

Radiohead headline in the studio this winter to begin recording

Radiohead Thom Yorke has revealed that the band will headline in the studio this winter to begin recording.

's studio some time in December and January 2012 in Oxford's new songs to work on the spending plan.

He told Rolling Stone, "We can get things together quite rapidly at the moment".

Already a new song Come To Your Senses, but the band's new material is expected to play when they hit the road in 2012.

Thom added, "It would be fun to have them ready when we go to play next year. I don't know how we would release them. It would be nice to make it all part of the flow and just enjoy it - not think about it too much".

He turned 43 on October 7 by the end of this year his new album Atoms For Peace is set to end.

He released the name of the session with the band's tour in 2010 looks likely to highlight the recording, who included Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and bassist Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

He said, "It's not good enough yet".

"Nigel and I were excited about it for so long, then we kind of lost our way. So we're taking some steps back. It's still in flux. We're waiting for the lightning bolt to strike."

Radiohead have said that protesters who have sympathy with the attack previous week on Wall Street.

The band's last report (September 30) announced on Friday in protest against plans to play a gig were forced to deny, told NME that the rumour "got out of control".

However, bassist Colin Greenwood said that he is sure of protesters angry over the financial system "understand".

He commented:
"Are we sympathetic to the protestors' cause? Of course. I understand people feeling frustrated with Wall Street, anyone would be, especially as those institutions were bailed out by taxpayers' money. I don't think that's a controversial thing to say".

Greenwood has also indicated that the Oxford group has more live shows, their latest album 'The King Of Limbs' is going to be in support, remarking that they had been having a "brilliant time" on their recent short US tour. The jaunt the band play two nights at Roseland Ballroom in New York and appear on the Colbert Report TV show has seen.

He added: "We've not had much of a chance to play 'The King Of Limbs' live. There was the Glastonbury performance, but with our own shows we can have the full production. We're getting together this week to talk about our plans for the rest of the year. We're having a brilliant time, so obviously we want to keep it going."
