Radiohead Greatest Album OK Computer

The British singer Radiohead new album OK Computer has been voted the greatest album of the previous years.

Nirvana classic Nevermind came second album while Oasis had two releases in the top five – (What's the Story) Morning Glory) was third and Definitely Maybe was fourth.

A spokesperson for the magazine, "As this readers' poll testifies, our readers see it as the benchmark against which all other albums are and continue to judged against in Q's lifetime."

Their band in the Top 30 had been four albums The Bends at No 8, Kid A at No 18 and In Rainbows at No 23.

U2 and the Stone Roses had two album inside, the Stone Roses and Muse were self album titled Black Holes And Revelation.

Celebrate the 25 anniversary of Q magazine, the Top 30 was complied.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke Helps 'Human Sculpture'

Member of Radiohead Thom Yorke has made a giant 'human sculpture'. Yorke group up with the 350 Earth campaign band in Brighton. A news had released in 28 November when the formed in 27 November Saturday.

In the draft to included volunteers stood in establishment to create the ‘human sculpture’, designed by Radiohead sleeve designer Stanley Donwood.

Radiohead gets into public art

The 350 Earth Climate Campaign Organisation and Radiohead's Thom Yorke teamed up and donated his time to design a 'human sculpture' over the weekend.

To create an image able to be seen from space around two-thousand volunteers gathered in Brighton in the UK and try to make an image hat depicted the 11th Century Viking King Canute who futilely attempted to control the oceans according to legend.

Yorke's design was one of many from countries all around the world designed to send a message about climate change to politicians attending a UN Convention in Mexico.

Radiohead give new album and tour update

Jonny Greenwood,guitarist of Radiohead band revealed there fans with an update on the band's new album and future touring plans.

It has been explained by Greenwood on their official website blog that band is still working on new album but that they "haven't quite finished" the follow-up to 2007's 'In Rainbows' yet.

He says that all reports are fake that the album would contain 10 songs, and that they would play live soon and he gave reference of an interviewed he gave with Rolling Stone in Italy recently that someone must have misquoted.

"I think this Italian writer has, either through over-enthusiasm or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little," Greenwood explained. "In fact we haven't quite finished the album - in the studio at the moment."

Greenwood also confirmed that they are not interested to play at any live shows yet and all are the rumors that we are taking part in Glanstonbury 2011."…Nor have we yet considered any touring," he outlined. "The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished."

Radiohead New Album Still In Pending

Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwoo has confirmed there fans and music world that they are still in the recording progress.

The singer posted this message on the official website of Radiohead to clarify quotes made in a recent interview saying: “I think this Italian writer has, either thorough over-enthusiasm, or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little…

“In fact we haven’t quite finished the album – in the studio at the moment – nor have we yet considered any touring.

“The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished… hope that’s a little clearer!”

Radiohead Frontman Thom Yorke has teamed up with Mark Ronson, Bryan Ferry, British Prime Minister David Cameron, tennis star Andy Murray and actor David Tenant (among several others) for "2 Minute Silence," a single that is quite literally two minutes of silence. It isn't just a boundary-testing art project, but rather a fund raising single for the Royal British Legion. You can pre-order the single here, and there is currently a push to get it on top of the British singles chart next week (your pre-order also buys you a video of the track's participants staring silently at the camera for two minutes). All proceeds will ultimately benefit British military veterans. "Rather than record a song, we felt the UK public would recognize the poignancy of silence and its clear association with remembrance," said Chris Simpkins, the Director General of the Royal British League.
